Review: Gavin D's BMX 2005 Calendar

Last update: 3 March, 2007

One of the best new ideas to help promote BMX and race events was Gavin D's BMX 2004 Calendar. It included photos from across Australia and New Zealand, covering all classes and included all the events and club contact details.

The BMX 2005 calendar is out now and it's even better than last year. It has more photos, more events, more colour, slicker design, you could go on and on. In addition there's a glossy colour pull out business directory that you can pin up on your wall. It lists much of Australia/New Zealand's BMX industry, including shops, distributors, manufacturers, and websites. The business directory will become your best friend right up to December 2005. For each month of the year you will have the opportunity to win $100, a $50 Gavin D photo voucher or a Jungle Inc. T-shirt and cap.

If you are looking for something for a christmas stocking stuffer for your kids, or maybe something to hide that hole you put in the wall that you don't want your parents to know about. You might even want to help spread the word of BMX and buy one for friends or family not currently involved in BMX. For every BMX enthusiast Gavin D's BMX 2005 calendar is a must have item.

Comments:

  • At an RRP of $21.95 this is a great price.
  • Not that weight matters in this case but this thing is so jam packed full of photos that it's surprising that you don't need to be built like Kamakazi just to carry it home.
  • This is a perfect way to plan ahead for you year of racing and to decorate any BMXer's bedroom/study/fridge or all three.
  • There has never been a BMX calendar that is so packed full of useful information for Australian and New Zealand's BMXers.

For more information about Gavin D's calendar check out www.gavind.com.au. Avalible through your local BMX Clubs, bike shops and new agencies in Australia and New Zealand.
